The Case
When turning on the computer, the system only showed the blue Windows pane and circling dots weren’t shown. Sometimes restarting the computer resolved the problem temporarily.
Fortunately, this is not a serious issue, and the solution to this problem is very simple. This problem is caused by the Windows 10 feature called “Fast Startup”, and disabling this feature will solve everything.
In Windows 8, Microsoft introduced a new feature FAST STARTUP during which allows your computer to start faster than normal by logging off the users’ session and saving system related files and drivers to a special hibernation file. Although this feature helps you to boot your system even faster than normal boot up, it can also cause several errors.
Solution
Here is given way to disable this feature and fix your Windows 10 which stops during startup. For maximum reliability and system, optimization use RegInOut for this purpose.
To disable “Fast Startup” feature in Windows 10, please follow these instructions:
- Open the Control Panel (icons view).
- Click on the Power Options icon.
- Click on the Choose what the power buttons does link.
- Click/tap on the Change settings that are currently unavailable link at the top.
- When prompted, click Yes.
- Under Shutdown settings, check the Turn on fast startup box, click/tap on the Save changes button, and go to step 8 below.
- Under Shutdown settings, uncheck the Turn on fast startup box, click/tap on the Save changes button, and go to step 8 below. (see screenshot below step 8).
- You can now close the System Settings window if you like.
