Get Rid of Corrupt Application Data Files

Your older Skype application data files are corrupted. Here are steps to erase partially damaged appdata files to enjoy faster video calls and online meetings.

  1. Click the File Explorer icon on the Taskbar.
  2. Click the View tab on the ribbon interface.
  3. Check the Hidden items box.
  4. Open the following location:
    C:\Users\%username%\AppData
  5. Rename Skype subfolder as Skype_Backup
