  4. Set Device Type: IEEE 1394/MPEG2-TS Device.
  5. Select your HDV Camera in another drop down box.
  6. Save the settings, exit.

 

Run the Program in Compatibility Mode

Sometimes there are compatibility issues. Just run Sony Movie Studio in compatibility mode as shown under:

  1. Right-click Sony Movie Studio icon on Desktop.
  2. Select Properties.
  3. Click Compatibility tab.
  4. Check-up the box labeled Run this program in compatibility mode for.
  5. Select an earlier version, say Windows XP (Service Pack 2).
  6. Click Apply | OK.
