Windows 8

 

If you are running Windows 8 operating system, you should make sure that you’re logged-in to the Administrator user account. Follow the steps given below to check your account type and log-in as an administrator:

 
  • Swipe from right.
  • Tap Settings | Change PC Settings.
  • Tap Users
  • Your account type will be displayed.
  • If the account type is not Administrator, reboot your system and log-in to an Administrator account.
 

Windows 7

 
  • Click on Start.
  • Take your mouse cursor next to shutdown.
  • Click Switch User or Log OFF option.
  • Now log-in to your Administrator user account.
 

Check Device Status Dialogue Box

You might be unaware about device malfunctioning. Open Device Manager and check for devices with a yellow color exclamation mark.

 
  • Right-click on My Computer.
  • Select Properties. Click Device Manager in left pane.
  • In the device manager right-click on device having yellow color exclamation mark.
  • Select Properties.
  • It will show you the error code.
 

Uninstall and Reinstall the Driver
